Searching for e-books

In "Searching for e-books" the default setting is All data, i.e. Title, Author, Subject, Publisher, ISBN and Series. Using the drop-down menu you can narrow your search.

You can use the operators "og" [and] and "eller" [or].

"Og" [and] is used default between words. Example: "Dog Cat" will show all results including the word Dog and the word Cat.

The operator "eller" [or] is used to expand the search to result covering either one word or the other.

Sentences are searched for by using inverted commas. You will only get results with the precisely same wording.

* and ? will add an open end to the search word including all derivative forms of the word

Advanced search

In Advanced Search you can combine several search criteria, i.e. Author combined with Title, or Title with Publisher.

Enter the search words in the two boxes and choose criteria from the drop-down menu

You can use the operators "og" [and] - "ikke" [not] - "eller" [or].

Using the operator "og" will limit the search.

Using the operator "eller" will expand the search

Using the operator "ikke" will exclude the word from the search

Full text search in all e-books

In Full text search you will be searching through the content of the e-books.

You can use the operators "og" [and] and "eller" [or].
